Fruitless..........

My horoscope for the day: June 30 2011

It is extremely difficult to leave a small footprint on the environment when someone is there to trip you up every time.

The story of my life. :sighs:

i think i'll dye my hair blue............

most times, i don't even know why i *bother* to open my mouth to speak..........

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IasCZL072fQ

Do you hear me?

Do you care?

Do you hear me?

Do you care

?My lips are moving but no sounds coming out

The words are audible but i have my doubts

That you realise what has been said

You look at me as if you're in a daze

It's like the feeling at the end of the page when you realise

You don't know what you just read.

What are words for

When noone listens anymore

What are words for

When noone listens what are words for

When noone listens

There's no use talking at all.

I might as well go up and talk to a wall

Coz all the words are having no effect at all

It's a funny thing.. am i all alone?

Something has to happen to change the direction

What little filters though is giving you the wrong impression

"it's a sorry state" I say to myself

What are words for

When noone listens anymore

What are words for

When noone listens

What are words for

When noone listens

There's no use talking at all.

Do you hear me?

Do you care?

Do you hear me?

Do you care?

Let me get by over your dead body

Hope to see you soon

When will i know?

Doors three feet wide with no locks open

Walking always backwards in faces of strangers

Time could be my friend

But it's less then nowhere now....

Pursue it any further and another thing you'll find

Not only are they deaf and dumb they could be going blind

No one notices I think i'll dye my hair blue.

Media overload bombarding you with action

It's getting near impossible to cause distraction

Someone answer me.. before i pull the plug.

What are words for

When noone listens anymore

What are words for

When noone listens

What are words for

When noone listens

There's no use talking at all

.Do you hear me?

Do you care?

Do you hear me?

Do you care?

damn right, i got the blues.........

For those unacquainted with the blues, it is not necessary to know much except all blues sounds essentially the same. What counts is the individuality of the singer, the soul of the performer. Everyone plays the same three or four chords, the melodies are almost indistinguishable, so the captivating part is what the player brings to the form. In the presence of a rare and gifted player or singer, one can capture for a moment a special feeling. It may cause you to laugh or cry. Sometimes it can change your life. It is this essence that compels everyone who listens to the blues to listen to more.

Excerpt from "The Long Sandy Hair of Neftoon Zamora...a novel" by Michael Nesmith

Nothing else even need be said...............

validation!

finally!! someone gets on national tv and admits that naturally curly hair is a pain in the patookus! elizabeth berkley was on wendy williams show this morning and at some point her gorgeous (and natural!) hair came up. she admitted that that curly mop of hers that she sported on "saved by the bell" was LOTS of work....hours of work and product and angst!! THANK YOU ELIZABETH!! i'd like to record that segment and play it for all of those thru the years who have told me how "lucky" i was to have such a mass of curls.

nifty 50s?

anyone who wonders why the 60s turned out the way they did has to go no further than look at the 50s!! could there have been a more boring decade??? just watch any old movie or tv show from that decade if you don't know what i mean. of course.......the 50s gave birth to my beloved rock and roll (and ME!) so i guess i have to be thankful for them, right?

My hero............

Today at the grocery store I was in line to check out behind the cutest little old man...he was 80 if he was a day. What he bought? Wine, strawberries, whipped cream and honey. That's all. Made me smile. In fact...it's *still* making me smile!!! Go Grandaddy!!!!
